Rui Simões spoke with Manuel Luís Goucha this Tuesday on TVI and talked about his relationship with Mafalda Castro.
“What is that love made of?”, the host asked.
“There is a movie called ‘Good Will Hunting’, which is about a genius in mathematics and he then has various demons in his head and at one point he starts a psychology session with Robin Williams, and in the meantime, he meets a woman and, since she is a very calculating, very cold person, he eventually turns to the psychologist and says: ‘I don’t know if I really like this woman, I’m still analyzing her. I don’t know if she is perfect'”, Rui Simões replied.
“And he immediately stops the conversation and says: ‘Look, I’m going to spoil the ending of the movie for you, which is she is not perfect, you are not perfect. The question is whether you are perfect for each other'”, reported Rui Simões.
“And that’s kind of how I think about our love. For me, at least, Mafalda is perfect. She may not be. I am very far from that, I am very far from being perfect, but I believe that we are perfect for each other”, concluded Rui Simões.
