Rupa Gurunath resigns as Tamil Nadu Cricket Association president
* Rupa Gurunath, daughter of former BCCI President and India Cement President Srinivasan, has been the President of the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association since September 2019.
* At present, in a statement issued by the Secretary of the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association, Ramasamy, regarding his resignation, Rupa Gurunath has stated that he will resign from the post of President in order to focus fully on the profession.
* Rupa Gurunath would like to thank the union executives and players who were supportive during his tenure.
* Rupa Gurunath, the first woman president of the State Cricket Association in the country, is currently a full-time director of India Cements.
* It is noteworthy that when Rupa Gurunath was the President of the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association, the Tamil Nadu team won the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy last year and this year.
