The rupee depreciated by 10 paise against the US dollar in early trade on Thursday.

The rupee depreciated against the dollar amid a sluggish stock market and lower international crude oil prices. The rupee had opened at 77.61 against the dollar in yesterday’s trade. It went from a trade high of 77.54 to a low of 77.63. At the close of trade, the rupee depreciated by 10 paise to close at 77.60.
Crude oil: $ 113.65 a barrel
Brent crude traded down more than 3% at $ 113.65 a barrel in early trade on Thursday, according to market data.
Outgoing foreign investment
Foreign financial institution investors sold another Rs 451.82 crore worth of shares in the capital market on Thursday, withdrawing their investments, according to market data.
