Shinepukur Cricket Club got a great victory in Dhaka Premier League (DPL). They won against Rupganj Tigers Cricket Club by showing their power. Two openers Tanjid Hasan Tamim and Zeesan Alam’s stormy batting saw Shinepukur win by 10 wickets.

Shinepukur bowled first and bowled out Rupganj Tigers for 110 runs at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium today. After coming down to bat, Farhad Hossain’s team crossed this run in just 9 overs due to the stormy batting of the two openers.

Shinepukur won the toss and decided to field first. In the beginning, Rabiul Haque gave Aich Mollah back a hint of good things. Then the procession of Rupganj batsmen started. Only one has managed to score twenty runs. Opener Abdullah Al Mamun scored the maximum 20 runs for the team.

Chasing an easy target, Shinepukur’s two openers, Tanjid Hasan Tamim and Jisan Alam, started batting mercurially from the beginning. Jisan has also set a record for the fastest half-century in the ongoing DPL.

Jisan got his fifty off just 24 balls. In the end he played 28 balls and remained unbeaten on 58 runs. His innings was studded with four fours and six sixes. And Tanjid, the opener of the national team, who ensured the team’s victory by hitting a six, remained unbeaten with 48 runs off 26 balls. His innings had six fours and three sixes.
