The opening phase of the match produced only a few scoring opportunities. Both teams struggled to find space in the opposing penalty area. In the 19th minute, the first big scoring opportunity of the match came. Leitzersdorf’s Timo Reiterer broke through on the left and sent a cross to Emir Salihovic, who only hit the right post. A few minutes later, Rußbach’s Miroslav Pak dribbled through the Leitzersdorf penalty area, but failed to get a shot on goal.
The game didn’t really get any more offensive until shortly before half-time. It was only a Leitzersdorf double substitution that brought momentum back into the game. Freshly substituted Marc Finz started the offensive with his dribble towards the FZSV penalty area, which ultimately resulted in Lukas Kaltenbrunner making the 1-0.

In the 83rd minute, Leitzersdorf’s Marc Finz was finally able to take a perfect through ball and then sink the ball into the goal – but the referee ruled it offside. The Russbachers did manage to make a few offensive attempts in the final phase, but this did not change Leitzersdorf’s victory.
