For its part, “Benin and Russia maintain good relations of friendship and cooperation, materialized in recent years by exchanges between official delegations at the high level (…) Our relations have greatly intensified through, among other things, providing Benin with scholarships and training in the various specialties, security, defence, agriculture, mining, etc. », declared Erick Jean-Marie ZINSOU, Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs who added that in the university field, a university partnership is being finalized between the University of Parakou and the State University of Medicine of Tver, also in favor of an agreement with the National University of Sciences, Technologies, Engineering and Mathematics of Benin. Finally, he reassured of the commitment of the Beninese side to consolidate the relations between the Russian Federation and Benin.
