Russia-Arab World Cooperation Forum welcomes Morocco’s choice to host 2030 World Cup
Marrakech – The Russia-Arab World Cooperation Forum, held on Wednesday in Marrakech, welcomed the choice of the Kingdom of Morocco to organize, alongside Spain and Portugal, the 2030 Football World Cup.
The Joint Declaration that sanctioned the work of its 6th edition also welcomed the planned hosting by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia of the 2034 Football World Cup.
The Arab and Russian Foreign Ministers also expressed, in this Declaration, their gratitude and consideration to the Kingdom of Morocco for hosting the work of the 6th edition of this Forum.
Morocco was chosen to host this edition of the Forum during the previous edition held in April 2019 in Moscow.
At the request of the Arab League, Morocco, which currently chairs the Ministerial Council of the League, hosted the 6th edition of this Forum.
