As Day.Az reports with reference to AZERTAC, this is stated in the congratulatory message of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin to the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on the occasion of his victory in the elections.
The President of Russia also noted in his message: “We attach great importance to allied relations with Baku. I am confident that we will continue active joint work to build up fruitful bilateral cooperation in all areas, partnership interaction in resolving pressing issues on the international agenda. This undoubtedly meets the interests of our friendly peoples, is in line with strengthening stability and security in the South Caucasus and the Caspian region.”
