Russia’s Defense Ministry claims to have killed more than 600 Ukrainian servicemen in a massive rocket attack on buildings in eastern Ukraine temporarily housing Ukrainian forces.
He said the attack on Kramatorsk was revenge for Ukraine’s deadly Christmas Day attack on Russian military quarters in Mykivka in a part of the Donetsk region controlled by Moscow forces.
Reuters could not immediately verify the Defense Ministry’s statement.
