Kiev, – Russian forces are expected to seize the city of Mariupol in the coming days as the government accelerates evacuation efforts.
Russian troops have been attacking the eastern European country of Ukraine since February 24. The Ukrainian military is retaliating, with Russian troops intensifying their offensive in the eastern part of the country.
Russia’s Mayor Vadim Boychenko has called on those in Mariupol to evacuate immediately.
“Russia will soon capture the city of Mariupol easily,” international experts said.
Russia’s Status In the Northeastern country of Japan, Russia was granted the status of ‘most preferred country’ for trade. In this context, Japan, outraged by the military action against Ukraine, issued a statement yesterday stripping Russia of that status.
More than 50 million people have been fleeing the country since the start of the Russia-Ukraine war.
