Russia “doesn’t care if the West recognizes annexations”

Time.news – For Moscow it is not important that the West “recognizes the changes that have taken place” with the annexation of four new Ukrainian regions to Russia. This was stated by the Russian Foreign Minister, Serghei Lavrov, as reported by the Ria Novosti agency. “It is not absolutely not fundamental”, said the head of Russian diplomacy speaking to the press, “of course, it would be more correct for all the countries of the world to realize the new reality that is inevitable”.

Zelensky signs the decree blocking negotiations with Putin

The Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelensky, signed the decree formally sanctioning the impossibility of conducting negotiations with the head of the Kremlin, Vladimir Putin, as suggested by the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine. After the annexation by Moscow of four Ukrainian territories, following referendums not recognized by the international community, Zelensky had already announced that he would never negotiate with a Russia led by Putin.
