Russian engineers have created an aerial unmanned truck “Aladdin” for the transportation of people and goods, a representative of the ANO “NTI Platform” told Vedomosti and was confirmed by the general designer of the project, director of the Aerospace Ecosystem company and head of the laboratory of aerospace systems of Moscow State University Alexei Altukhov. “Aladdin” is capable of carrying up to 250 kg of payload at a distance of up to 150 km, the general designer specified.
The development of the project has so far been carried out mainly at the expense of Altukhov’s personal funds, he told Vedomosti. According to him, at the moment about 22 million rubles have been invested in it. Co-investors were also NV-ASUproekt and top manager of Sovcomflot Alexander Kashkin.
