The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, and the Secretary General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, highlighted on Wednesday, in Kiev, the need to extend the Agreement on grain exports on the Black Sea. “We agreed today that the extension of the Black Sea grain export initiative after March 18 is essential for the whole world. We are interested in ensuring that there is no hunger in the world, and our common policy is to extend the grain corridor initiative,” said Volodymyr Zelensky.
“I want to emphasize the essential importance of the extension after March 18 of the Black Sea grain export initiative and the activities of creating the conditions to allow the maximum use of the Black Sea export infrastructures,” he said , for his part, the Secretary General of the UN, Antonio Guterres.
