Russia may return to fulfilling the grain deal, but Moscow’s conditions must be met for this, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said at a press approach during a visit to the Territory of Meanings forum, Day.Az reports citing TASS.
Asked if Russia’s return to the grain deal is real, the Kremlin spokesman said: “It’s real.” “For this, it is simply necessary that European countries take a number of measures to remove restrictions on disconnecting Rosselkhozbank from SWIFT and so on,” he explained.
According to him, “they can be done quickly, and [тогда] Russia will immediately return to fulfilling the grain deal.”
Peskov stressed that Russia had been fulfilling its obligations under the grain deal unilaterally for too long, while obligations towards Moscow, on the contrary, had not been fulfilled.
