Russia proposes to the United States to jointly work out a new “security level”. This is stated in a written reaction to the response of the American side on security guarantees, published on February 17 on the website of the Russian Foreign Ministry, TASS reports.
The response notes that Moscow continues to advocate an integrated approach to strategic issues.
Recall that earlier on Thursday, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that Russia would send the United States its written response on security guarantees today.
The head of the Russian Foreign Ministry also said that the contents of this letter will be in the public domain. “Because if everything is kept secret, as our colleagues from Washington and Brussels do, public opinion will be filled with lies and outright propaganda,” Lavrov added.
