/ The Federal Service for Financial Supervision of the Russian Federation included, on Tuesday, US Senator Lindsey Graham on the “terrorist list” maintained by Moscow.

In May 2023, the Russian Interior Ministry put Graham on the wanted list, and before that, the head of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin, ordered to initiate a criminal case into the senator’s anti-Russian statements.

Among Graham’s most prominent and recent statements was what he said in response to the death of the famous Russian opposition figure Alexei Navalny, in an interview on the American CBS network: “When Navalny returned to Russia, he knew that he would be killed by Putin, and now he has been killed by him.”

He referred in his statements to “the need to consider Russia a state sponsor of terrorism under US law,” saying: “Let’s make them pay for killing Navalny.”
