Britain has announced new sanctions on Russian aviation in retaliation for the war in Ukraine.
Under Britain’s new restrictions, Russia’s three airlines, Aeroflot, Ural Airlines and Rosia Airlines, will not be able to sell their own landing sites at all British airports.
The government has estimated the value of these landing sites at 50 50 million.
We have already closed our airspace to Russian airlines.
“As long as Putin continues his brutal attacks on Ukraine, we will continue to target Russia’s economy,” said British Secretary of State Liz Dres.
