Russia to launch Japanese billionaire into space – NEWS 360 – WORLD

Moscow: Russia is preparing to send Japanese billionaire Yusaku Mesawa to the International Space Station. Tomorrow, the Mosaic spacecraft will depart from the Bikaner Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan aboard the Soyuz spacecraft with Assistant Yoso Hirana. Maizawa and Hirano were the first Japanese tourists to be sent to Russia.

Alexander Misurkin, 44, is the pilot of the three – seater Soyuz spacecraft. Misurkin has already participated in two international space station missions.

Mesawa and Hirana will spend 12 days in space. Mesawa will share his travel experiences through his YouTube channel. Messawa and his aide had been preparing for the trip for months in the Star City outside Moscow.
Russia has so far sent seven astronauts into space with the US-based Space Adventures.
