Russia plans to send the Zeus transport and energy module to Jupiter in 2030. This will be the first flight of an advanced nuclear tug that is to be used for deep space missions.

As the executive director of Roscosmos for promising programs and science, Alexander Bloshenko, said in the framework of the educational marathon “New Knowledge”, this flight will take 50 months.

According to the plan of the mission, first there will be an approach to the Moon, where the spacecraft will separate, then there will be a gravitational maneuver near Venus, where the spacecraft will also separate, then it will fly away towards Jupiter and its satellites.
