Russia – Ukraine, UK sends two warships to the Black Sea

The UK will send two warships into the Black Sea as tensions between Ukraine and Russia rise. Senior British officials, reports The Sunday Times, reported that the UK will send two Royal Navy warships to the Black Sea in May. Airplanes and submarines will support the ships in case of any threats from Russian forces, according to the British newspaper. A spokesman for the British Defense Ministry explained that the UK intends to show its support for Ukraine.

Ukrainian authorities have criticized Russia in recent days for deploying Russian military in an area near the common border.
