UN General Assembly passes resolution against Russia; India abstained from voting

The resolution against Russia was supported by 141 countries while 5 countries opposed it. 35 countries abstained. India left. It has a total of 193 members. Thirty-five countries, including China and India, abstained. Meanwhile, Eritrea, North Korea, Syria and Belarus opposed the resolution along with Russia. The UN resolution strongly criticized Vladimir Putin’s remark that Russia should leave Ukraine immediately and use nuclear weapons.
