A Russian missile attack took place today (Monday) in the city of Kremenchug in Poltava Oblast in central Ukraine. The Ukrainians said the missiles hit a shopping center where more than 1,000 civilians were staying, and an official report confirmed that there were two dead and at least 20 wounded as a result of the attack.

Kremenchug is a large industrial city with a population of 217,000 before Russia’s invasion of the country in February, with the largest refinery in Ukraine.
The war in Ukraine is intensifying, so in parallel with the G7 leaders’ meeting held yesterday in Germany, where they discussed the energy and food crisis as a result of the invasion, Russia carried out a number of missile attacks on the capital Kyiv. At least one person was killed and six others were injured to varying degrees as a result of the attack.
