Notably, immediately after the war with Ukraine began, Russian forces seized the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant.

Sharing a picture of himself with 13 experts, Krosi said: ‘We must protect Ukraine and Europe’s largest nuclear power plant. I am proud to lead this mission to visit the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant by the end of this week. “Experts will examine the extent of damage to the plant,” he tweeted.

Meanwhile, Russia is preparing the ground for annexation of Ukraine’s occupied territories by referendum. Kremlin official Sergei Kiyenko cited a Sunday poll showing 91 percent support for annexing the eastern Ukrainian regions of Donetsk and Luhansk, collectively known as Donbass, to Russia.
