This is how the weapon was named by the Ukrainian Air Force in a message from the command post.

The report also said that it – along with 13 of the 16 Shahed drones launched – was shot down.

Later, the first photo of the wreckage of the drone appeared on the Internet, showing that it is indeed very different from the Shahed-136.

It was also specified that it was flying at an extremely low altitude of 20-30 meters – suggesting that it was most likely a kamikaze drone.

Defense Express has obtained more photos of this downed drone. Based on them, it appears to have been a drone over 4 meters long.

It can be seen that it is similar to the Russian ZALA 421-20, which has some analogous elements. However, ZALA aircraft belong to the reconnaissance category and would hardly fly at such a low altitude. Also, this type of drone is not widely available – and according to Defense Express, it is unlikely that it is still in production.

The remains of this drone are currently being examined, which means that its capabilities, characteristics, as well as the manufacturer and components from which it was assembled will soon be determined, writes Defense Express.
