Moscow, Dec. 12–

Russia has welcomed India’s decision not to accept G7 decisions on Russian gas.

World leaders are making serious efforts to end the war between Ukraine and Russia in order for the world to recover from the economic collapse. At the same time, Western countries including the United States are trying to destabilize Russia’s economy. As part of that, the Western G-7 alliance, including the United States, agreed yesterday to cut the price of Russian crude oil to $60 a barrel to limit Russian revenues.

The U.S. hopes that revenues will be modestly lower as this lowers the price of crude oil, which plays a huge role in Russia’s economy. In this situation, Russia has reacted as usual to this new announcement of Western countries.

Welcome to India’s decision

In this regard, Russian President Putin and presidential palace sources said, “We will not export crude oil to countries that impose price controls. The decision by the G7 countries is said to be a reversal of free market policy.

In this situation, Russia has welcomed India’s decision that it will not accept the decisions of the G7 countries on Russian gas.

Regarding this, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said, “India has rejected the Russian gas price ceiling introduced by the G7 countries on the 5th. It is welcome. A gas price cap will have an impact on the market. It will break global sales chains. And it will completely disrupt the gas market, he said.
