The hard-fought Donbass is still one of the main theaters in the Ukraine war. This is where the Russian activist Zemfira S. was killed when she drove over a mine. S. was a member of a national-Bolshevik party.

Despite dwindling morale among Russian soldiers, fighting in Ukraine continues. The hard-fought Donbass in particular has been under constant fire for weeks. Now the Russian war propagandist Zemfira S.* is said to have died in the Donbass. According to the newspaper “Ukrainska Pravda”, S. worked for the TV channel Russia Today.
The activist, who politicized for the national-Bolshevik party “The Other Russia”, died in an accident when she drove over a Ukrainian mine. As the newspaper goes on to write, the propagandist suffered fatal injuries from the explosion of a “Lepestok PFM mine” in the Kirovske district.
Her party believes that areas inhabited by Russian speakers, including Belarus and northern Kazakhstan, should be returned to Russia. The party was banned by the constitutional court because it openly represented nationalist, anti-democratic and social-populist positions. (dzc)
