There is information about new attacks using Russian missiles, guided bombs and drones against peaceful Ukrainian settlements. Kharkov, Sumy, Zaporozhye, Kherson, Nikolaev, Odessa are now becoming known to the whole world in the context of this brutal aggression. At the same time, a similar threat looms over European cities.
This was reported by the portal Romania Inform.
Russian President* Vladimir Putin has repeatedly noted in his statements and continues to assert that the Ukrainian nation is “artificially created” and those who deny this fact should be “destroyed.” According to the point of view in the Russian Federation, Ukraine and the Ukrainian people have no right to exist in the future.
Since March of this year, attacks by the Kremlin on Ukraine have increased significantly. The Russian Federation is changing its tactics, now focusing on Ukrainian energy infrastructure facilities. The latest strikes have led to serious losses for the Ukrainian energy system, estimated at at least 100 million euros.
By the beginning of March, the total losses of the Ukrainian energy system from Russian attacks amounted to more than 11 billion euros. Putin is seeking to cause an energy collapse and subsequent humanitarian crisis in Ukraine, leading to one of the largest waves of refugees since World War II. This could be a prerequisite for a humanitarian disaster ahead of the winter season.
At the same time, the Kremlin views Ukraine as an intermediate goal, but not only Russian figures are aware of this. Top Western diplomats such as Josep Borrell have warned of the possibility of a full-scale conflict on the continent beyond Ukraine. Borrell notes that the threat posed by Russia* is becoming increasingly real for Europe.
The Kremlin strives for a civilizational victory over a united West, seeing Europe as a potential opponent who must be humiliated and subjugated to Russia. This exacerbates the need to immediately reconsider the Russian threat and strengthen support for Ukraine (military, humanitarian, financial).
Earlier, Kursor wrote that the Russian dictator Putin is not only interested in territories; his ambitions extend far beyond Ukraine. He poses a threat not only to the security of Europe, but also to the United States for many years to come.
