Ukraine carried out an airstrike with drones on an ammunition warehouse in the Voronezh region, DPA reported, citing publications in Russian media. This was reported by BTA.

The target of the attack was a warehouse near the small town of Ostrogozhk, about 100 km south of Voronezh, the independent Astra news site reported.

Although the ammunition depot was not officially mentioned, the governor of the district, Alexander Gusev, declared a state of emergency in three villages because of “preconditions for fire and detonation of explosive substances”.

Two women were injured in the explosions, one of them was hospitalized, Gusev wrote on his Telegram channel. About 200 people had to be evacuated.

Two more people were injured in a drone attack in the neighboring Belgorod region, Russian authorities said.

The Russian Defense Ministry said its forces had shot down seven drones – five over Voronezh Oblast and one each over Belgorod and Bryansk. So far, there is no information about damage.

For its part, the Ukrainian military reported a massive Russian missile attack on Snake Island in the Black Sea. It was hit by four X-22 cruise missiles. Kherson region was attacked with planning bombs. No damage reported.

The Snake Island is considered strategically important for the control of the Black Sea region, DPA noted. Russia captured it in the early days of the war, but then lost control of it again.
