Three people were detained in Bulgaria on suspicion of transmitting confidential data, BNT TV channel reported. This is a 60-year-old Russian and two citizens of Lithuania.

They were employees of the Arsenal military plant in the city of Kazanlak. All three went on unpaid leave and then did not return to work. At that time, confidential documents were found missing at the plant. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, they contain information “extremely important for the company and of interest to Bulgarian or foreign competitors.”

On October 5, three people were detained at a checkpoint on the border with Greece. The police said they found documents and items in their cars, “which, presumably, have a direct relationship” to what happened at the plant.

The material is being supplemented.
