Russia expects that the United States will influence Ukraine to fulfill its obligations for a peaceful settlement in Donbass, according to a message from the Russian embassy in Washington, published on Facebook.
“We note the words of the White House press secretary Jen Psaki about support for building up efforts to resolve the conflict in Donbass in accordance with the Minsk agreements,” the embassy said.
The diplomatic mission added that Kiev “must finally stop sabotaging the Minsk agreements.”
“We hope that the American authorities will listen to sound judgment and influence the strategic partner to fulfill their obligations in close coordination with Donetsk and Lugansk,” the embassy noted.
