The Ukrainian Atomic Energy Agency recently reported that radiation from the Chernobyl nuclear power plant seized by the Russian military is on the rise.

Russia’s military has seized control of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant in northern Ukraine on the first day of its offensive against Ukraine.
According to the Ukrainian government, the Russian occupiers have seized the Chernobyl nuclear reactor. Thus millions of lives are said to be in danger.
However, the Russian Defense Ministry said it was seizing the Chernobyl reactor to protect it, as terrorist groups and nationalist groups were likely to attack it.
Meanwhile, the U.S. Defense Department says Russian troops have begun to withdraw from the Chernobyl nuclear reactor in Ukraine.
