Russian Kudermetova reached the quarterfinals of the tennis tournament in Linz

Russian tennis player Veronika Kudermetova beat Ukrainian Angelina Kalinina in the match of the Upper Austria Ladies Linz tournament and reached the quarterfinals. The meeting in Austrian Linz was held with a score of 4: 6, 6: 4, 6: 2 and lasted 2 hours 6 minutes.

The prize fund of the tournament is about € 190,000. In the quarterfinal match Kudermetova will play with the Romanian Jacqueline Adina Christian.

24-year-old Kudermetova is ranked 32nd in the ranking of the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA). She was part of the Russian tennis team, which won the Billie Jean King Cup final for the first time since 2008 in November.
