The Moroccan parliament condemned “the biased campaign against the kingdom, the last act of which was the adoption of a resolution by the European Parliament on January 19, 2023,” the media reports.

And to specify that the legislative institution of Morocco “regrets that the EP has allowed itself to be drawn into a campaign of false accusations against a traditional and credible partner, which assumes major roles in the protection of rights and freedoms, and the defense of regional and international peace and security; a partner considered as a pillar of stability, good neighborliness and understanding between peoples, cultures and civilizations.”
The Parliament strongly condemned “hostile attempts to harm Morocco’s interests and tarnish its image, as well as the deep and historical relations between Morocco and the European Union; relations which are based on a foundation of shared values and common interests,” Embassylife concludes.
