In March, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin announced that the government would exempt IT companies from income taxes and inspections by regulatory authorities for three years. Organizations will be given the opportunity to issue loans “to continue working” and for new projects at a rate not exceeding 3% per annum. Employees of IT companies will be provided with preferential mortgages. In addition, such specialists, until they reach the age of 27, will receive a deferment from conscription for the entire period of work. Finally, the government will expand the grant program for the creation of domestic solutions, Mishustin added. On March 2, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on measures to support the IT industry and its further development against the backdrop of sanctions pressure.
