Russian Post has launched a new service for organizations – digitizing incoming paper correspondence for companies and government agencies and transmitting it to addressees in electronic form. A representative of the post told Vedomosti about this. According to him, Russian Post can either simply send scans of letters to the addressee, or upload them to the company’s internal document management system, if it is integrated with the Russian Post IT systems.

According to him, the correspondence arriving at different post offices to the address of the company is transferred to the digitization centers, where the letters are opened and converted into electronic form, after which they are sent or laid out on the server to the addressee: receives from him a power of attorney to receive, open and process correspondence ”.
