/ The Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) revealed, on Friday, the arrest of three “citizens of a Central Asian country” who were planning to launch a bomb attack in southern Russia.

The Security Service said, in a statement carried by Russian news agencies, that it “put an end to the terrorist activities of three citizens from a Central Asian country who were planning to commit a terrorist act by detonating an explosive device in a public place in the Stavropol region.”

This comes a week after the attack on a concert hall near Moscow, which killed at least 144 people.

The ISIS terrorist organization claimed responsibility for this attack, but the Russian authorities questioned this account and said they had evidence proving Ukraine’s connection to the incident, which Kiev denied.

The latest Moscow attack is the deadliest attack in Russia in nearly twenty years.
