Russian soldiers who lay down their weapons will be given life protection – Ukraine informs

Ukraine’s Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov has urged Russian soldiers to lay down their arms and surrender as Russia’s war on Ukraine continues for more than seven and a half months.

Speaking in Russian, in a video released by him, he promised that Russian soldiers who lay down their arms would be given life protection.

He said that by laying down their arms, Russian soldiers could save their country from further tragedy and the Russian army from humiliation. Reznikov also said that he would provide security and justice for war crimes cases against Russian soldiers who refuse to fight against Ukraine.
