The Fund for Assistance to Innovation has presented for financing the Russian startup Avant Space (AS): it will receive a grant of 3 million rubles. to create a mobile application for recognizing encoded images from space, similar to QR codes. The idea of ​​the project is that 20-30 AS satellites weighing 7.5 kg each, launched into space by a cluster and equipped with laser arrays, will be able to form glowing logos of advertising customers in the twilight and night sky, AS technical director Alexander Malinin explained to the statements: “The system will turn on when satellites pass over large cities. The size of the coverage spot will be about three full moons or 1.5 angular degrees. “
