From Monday, November 8, residents of Russia will begin to receive a certificate of vaccination against COVID-19 or a disease of a new type. The order of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation was published on the official Internet portal of legal information.

The certificate will be available electronically on the public services portal no later than three days after vaccination. To obtain a paper equivalent, you need to contact the MFC.

The document will contain information about the citizen who has been vaccinated, including his full name, date of birth, gender, residence address, passport data, policy number and SNILS. The document will indicate when, where and with what vaccine the person was vaccinated. It will also include information about revaccination, the presence of medical contraindications and whether the person was sick with COVID-19. A place for a QR code is provided in the certificate. It will be the same for all regions of Russia and will be entered into the federal vaccination database, which will reduce the likelihood of its counterfeiting.

Previously received certificates will be automatically reissued on the public services portal until March 1, 2022.

The Russian Ministry of Health approved the form of a certificate of vaccination against coronavirus and an infection already transferred on October 25.

On October 21, it became known that against the background of the aggravation of the situation with coronavirus in Russia, scammers offering fake vaccination certificates again became active. It was clarified that the sellers are asking to send the data of the passport or driver’s license, SNILS, insurance policy, as well as the phone number connected to the “State Services”.

Against the background of a worsening epidemiological situation, the Russian authorities are urging residents to get vaccinated in order to protect their health and take care of their loved ones. Citizens are vaccinated for free. Five vaccines against coronavirus have been registered in the country: Sputnik V, which became the first vaccine against COVID-19 in the Russian Federation and the world, as well as Sputnik Light, EpiVacCorona, EpiVacCorona-N and KoviVak.
