Russians consider the level of salary the main reason for dismissal

According to the Zarplata.ru portal (TASS survey results), 44% of respondents out of 1,730 residents across the country said that dissatisfaction with low wages can become an incentive to look for a new job. In 2022, 17% of Russians would like to quit.

Among other reasons for dismissal, dissatisfaction with the quality of work was named by the authorities – 15%, staff reduction, closing of the organization – 10%, lack of desire to work in an unloved job – 10%, tense relations with management – 7%, inability to cope with their labor duties – 6% . Most of all, employees in the catering, finance and sales sectors want to leave their jobs.

The most attractive industries in which Russians are looking for a replacement for their previous job are IT – 19%, services – 14%, logistics – 10%.

Earlier, the recruiting service Rabota.ru conducted a survey on the desired salary of Russians. It turned out that by the spring of 2021, this figure had grown by 44% compared to the lockdown period amid the coronavirus pandemic and amounted to 107 thousand rubles. In June 2020, immediately after the lifting of restrictive measures, the average desired salary of Russians was 74 thousand rubles.
