The Russian navy has conducted large-scale military exercises in the eastern, Mediterranean, Black Sea, and Parent Sea of ​​the Arctic Ocean. Russian Defense Minister Sergei Choi inspected the war exercises in the eastern and Mediterranean.

Russia’s naval chief Nikolai Yovmenov has said the military exercises are aimed at countering military threats from key maritime areas and safeguarding national interests.

Russia’s northern navy has sent about 20 warships and submarines to the Barandas Sea, engaging in anti-submarine exercises. The exercises are said to be in line with Russia’s 2022 training program. A total of more than 140 warships, more than 60 aircraft and more than 10,000 armed forces participated.
