When inaugurating the construction of the Sports Unit of the Los Tres Potrillos locality, in the municipality of Chicomuselo, Governor Rutilio Escandón Cadenas stressed that in this government of the Fourth Transformation, public resources are cared for and allocated to consolidate this type of works, which In addition to guaranteeing decent and functional spaces for the population to practice sports and healthy social coexistence, they contribute to well-being, health and the strengthening of the social fabric.
“We work with the example of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, of investing resources to advance the needs of the people. We are happy to build this multi-sports complex that will have a soccer field, basketball courts, outdoor gyms, multipurpose spaces, and children’s games, among others, for the benefit of the population,” he said when calling on them to organize sports tournaments, reforest the green areas and take care of it because it is the patrimony of the town.
After announcing the access paving works to the sports unit and the comprehensive improvement of the Central Park, the president endorsed the commitment to continue adding efforts and resources with the authorities of Chicomuselo to carry out more actions in the areas of health, education, security, services public and other items, in order to advance the progress and growth of the human development index of the municipality.
He announced that together with the Federal Government, the continuity projects for the construction of vehicular bridges are being analyzed, since they represent very important works, because in addition to reducing travel times between the municipalities of the Sierra and Frailesca regions, they strengthen mobility. social, commercial, tourist and economic activities.
The Secretary of Public Works, Ángel Carlos Torres Culebro, pointed out that with this work, in which more than 19.8 million pesos were invested, the instruction of Governor Rutilio Escandón to consolidate sports works that contribute to recreation and leisure is followed up. of childhood and youth in all regions of Chiapas. “Corruption and impunity are being buried under these infrastructures, because in plain sight it reflects the will of a government that is doing things well.”
On behalf of the athletes, the municipal volleyball coordinator, Eduardo Gómez Roblero, recognized the governor for making possible one of the greatest dreams of those who practice sports: having decent spaces to exercise and train. He stressed that this kind of work allows youth to stay away from drugs and vices, in addition to promoting family life and a healthy life.
In turn, Mayor Jorge Martín Sepúlveda Morales highlighted the willingness of the Government of Chiapas to promote projects that allow towns to develop in peace and healthy coexistence, such as this work that will promote sports and other recreational activities for families. “This support encourages us to continue working so that Chicomuselo is a town with more and better development.”
It should be noted that during his visit to this municipality, the governor also delivered training certificates for the First Aid Course, taught by the Institute for Training and Technological Linkage of Chiapas (Icatech) to the population, Civil Protection and Security personnel Pública Municipal, where it specified that these actions allow timely action in the face of any emergency situation that puts the integrity of people at risk.
