Ryanair cabin crew have announced new strike days during the month of July, intensifying their protests against the low-cost airline. USO and Sitcpla have registered stops on 12, 13, 14, 15, 18, 19, 20, 21, 25, 26, 27 and 28 July at the ten Spanish airports in which it operates. The labor dispute is getting worse and the announcement of the unions comes during a new day of strikes, which have affected a total of 5 delayed departure flights from Barcelona while 12 have arrived late. In Girona, the delay has affected a departure flight and an arrival flight.

The unions claim before the Ministry of Labor that “they do not allow Ryanair to violate labor law” and “act against a company that does not comply with court rulings, does not comply with the law and uses fear, coercion and threat to its employees, “said the callers of the strike in a statement issued this Saturday.

Easyjet, for its part, is also starting its first day of strike this July. On the first day of the protest, five flights have already been canceled and 52 more have been delayed.

Minimum services

The Ministry of Transport informed Ryanair, Aena, Enaire and the convening unions that during these days of strike the minimum services had to be between 36% and up to 82%, depending on the airport of origin and if the flight was peninsular, non-peninsular or international.
