Ryazan juniors won medals at the World Polyathlon Championship

Athletes from the Ryazan region became champions of the World Junior Polyathlon Championships. This is reported by the regional ministry of sports.

Sergey Mitrofanov, a native of Sasov, won the gold medal in the eventing among youths 16-17 years old. Among the winners representing the Ryazan region were Anastasia Doktorova, Zlata Davydova, Ivan Doktorov, Valeria Fedotova, Daria Manikina, Yegor Marusov.

The competition was attended by 150 athletes from nine countries, including Russia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan. Boys and girls, juniors, veterans competed in power gymnastics, bullet shooting from pneumatic weapons, endurance running.
