“SCHOOL OF LOCK! Miyaze LOCKS!” is a radio program on TOKYO FM where Riya Miyaze serves as the personality. On the April 3rd (Wednesday) broadcast, we introduced the first album “PLAYLIST” released on April 10th (Wednesday) and the track “Candy” that was distributed in advance.

I usually work as an actor, and I’ve been appearing in movies and dramas recently! Besides being an actor, I am also active as an artist! The artist name is not “Ryubi Miyase” but “Ryubi Miyase”. In order to aim for the world, we also want to be known in Roman letters as much as possible!
Ryubi Miyase will make her major debut with the album “PLAYLIST” on Wednesday, April 10th! Why did she name it “PLAYLIST”?
I listen to artists’ songs quite often. I like to listen to an artist’s album in its entirety, starting from the beginning, and immerse myself in the world. When I listened to it all the way from the beginning while I was on the go, there were parts that resonated with me and many parts that gave me a boost. Lately, I’ve been listening to Hikaru Utada’s albums a lot. In this way, I receive color from artists in my daily life. I want to be like that too.
I hope that this “PLAYLIST” can become your daily “PLAYLIST”. Each song on this album has a different taste, and it’s not just a message of “Do your best!” There’s a real part to it… There’s also the painful things I’ve experienced, so I wrote the lyrics like, “So let’s get over it!” I hope everyone will use this “PLAYLIST” to brighten up their daily lives!

Miyayo: I wrote the lyrics for this song! I wrote lyrics about what my current self could say to my past self.
The A verse is what I thought in the past, and the B verse is from my mother…I’m a bit negative, so I purposely wrote what my mother said to me using metaphorical expressions. But… In the chorus, I wrote what I can say about the past!
This time I also took on the challenge of writing lyrics, and it’s an album that I have a lot of feelings for. It’s my first shot, so I guess that’s true (lol). Each piece was made with care and thought. There are other songs besides “Candy”, so be sure to give them a listen!
Speaking of album release…! The live tour “Ryubi Miyase Live Tour 2024 “NEVERLAND”” is approaching! It starts in May! I came up with this tour title. “NEVERLAND” is the world of children like Peter Pan, isn’t it?
