Saakashvili’s personal doctor announced his readiness for hospitalization

Nikoloz Kipshidze, the personal physician of ex-Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili, who went on a hunger strike in prison, said the politician was ready to be hospitalized.

According to him, the details of Saakashvili’s transfer to the hospital will be discussed with the ministries of health and justice.

“We’ll find out tomorrow, the day after tomorrow, when he is hospitalized,” he said.

At the same time, the doctor stressed that hospitalization would not mean the end of the hunger strike.
