The 51-year-old tweeted: “Even astronauts cannot escape doing housework.” Saturday is the cleaning day in space.
You can relax the next day: Sunday is a day of rest even in space. Maurer: “Then I just float, I feel a bit like a butterfly.”
During a live switch with Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier (65) and children with heart disease who were connected from the Deutsches Museum in Munich and the space studio in Nohfelden, the 51-year-old said: “This is an experience of absolute freedom. ”
But work is done during the week.
