Pampa: Mandala pooja was held at Sabarimala Sannidhanam to mark the end of the forty-one day fast. Mandala Puja was held between 11.45 am and 1.05 am in Pisces. The pilgrimage ended at 10 pm when the procession closed at Harivarasana. The trail for Makaravilakku will reopen on December 30.

Pilgrims will be admitted the next day at 4 p.m. Makaravilakku will be held on January 14.

There were days when up to 43,000 people visited Sannidhanam in one day. The Devaswom Board President said that everyone who came received the vision as per the Kovid protocol. K Ananthagopan informed that he will approach the state government for opening the Idukki Pullet road and will open more bread aravana counters in view of Makaravilakku.
