Sacred rune in Munich on abandonment of van de Zandschulp

The Dane offered himself his first title on the circuit by taking advantage of an injury to the Dutchman.

The young Dane Holger Rune, 19, won his first title on the big circuit, at the Munich tournament, beating the Dutchman Botic van de Zandschulp by retirement on Sunday. Rune (70th in the world) was down 4-3 in the first set when his opponent (40th) retired.
