jpnn.com – Persib Bandung team doctor Dr. Rafi Ghani breathed his last breath at the age of 55 at Hasan Sadikin Hospital, Bandung, Monday (23/12/2024) evening.
This sad news was shared directly by Persib Bandung via official social media.
“Deepest condolences for the passing of Persib team doctor Muhammad Raffi Ghani.”
“Thank you for your extraordinary dedication and loyalty with Persib,” read Persib’s statement.
Raffi has had a career as a Persib Bandung team doctor for 15 years.
The deceased joined Persib since the 2009/10 edition of the Indonesian Super League.
During his time with Prince Biru, Raffi also won two Indonesian League titles for the 2014 and 2023/24 seasons plus a trophy for the 2015 President’s Cup.
Since last season, dr. Raffi has reduced his activities with Persib due to his declining health.
